Visiting Boise for work and I always stop and try these old school burger type places whenever I see them wherever I travel. If they look like they've been around since the 50's or 60's and also have serve soft serve ice cream cones on the menu, then chances are you're gonna get a good burger and this place did not disappoint. Great burger and fries. Obviously fresh ingredients, seasoned well. Skip In n' Out. I'm originally from Southern California and In n Out will always hold a special place in my heart but it's more a nostalgia thing. I'm not too proud to admit there are better burgers and fries out there and this place is definitely better. Went twice during my visit, in fact. First time I went for the finger steaks cuz I figured I had to give em a try. Good, but the burger is where it's at. Also, service both times was very friendly and personable. Kudos, guys. Keep it up!

After a great day of checking out a museum I had to have a butterscotch shake. My stepdad took me to this really cool drive-in place. It was cool and they had an 899 special for Thursday. That was a chicken sandwich at the spicy version and I had to get a side of tater tots. I found the service to be exceptionally nice, the shake was delicious and we didn’t even have to wait more than five minutes to get our order something you don’t find often these days. I found the food super delicious and I definitely coming back. I recommend the fries sauce. It must be an Idaho thing because I’ve never seen it before I came here and it’s delicious. Every restaurant that has it. I find that stuff super addicting but perhaps to the staff and Crew the place was clean the service was quick and the food was the best I’ve had in a while.

Amazing 71 yr old business. Serving awesome burgers and more! We stopped in and ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers and tots and fries. Came with delicious fry sauce. Burgers were big, juicy and delicious. Our 1st time here and we will definitely return. Nice seating in heated addition by drive thru .ample parking.

This place is a classic, needs to live for forever. 4star service cause lines and waits can get long but all in all this place doesn't miss. With solid options for everyone. Vegan options too. Great drinks. Great shakes. Great service! Cool environment!

Went for lunch, ordered Bacon Cheeseburger, Chicken Sandwich, Tater tots, Fries, and a vanilla shake. Service was quick, and the food was good. Wish they had a western burger with onion rings and BBQ sauce. Sometimes, there's even a car show in the parking lot.

Came to get lunch here while craving a good burg & fries. Customer service was well executed by the employee and helpful with my questions. I Decided to do the daily Friday special R&R meal. Very reasonably priced special meal. Opted to Add lettuce, tomato and grilled onions to the Swiss mushroom burger. The fries were crispy and tasty. They have 2 lanes to drive thru and order, but this place can get very busy for lunch. Good thing is you can order ahead of time online as well. Peep their website for the deets. They have a good size space & tables for outdoor eating as well that’s covered from the inferno of a hot gas star melting your face off. I will most definitely being coming back to get sweet treats like ice cream and milkshakes and another burger to try. Y’all come try Big Bun Drive In asap if you haven’t already.

This place was amazing! The food was delicious and quick and friendly service. We ordered there and ate in a heated covered area. We got cheese sticks, French fries, chicken tenders and a double cheeseburger and it all tasted phenomenal! For drinks we got a chocolate shake, Reese's shake and a blackberry lemonade which were also good. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.
